Top Issues

Support Teachers
Create incentives to educate highly-qualified teachers in Alaska and to keep them in our schools
Affordable College
Fight to reduce the burden of student loan debt, which is crippling a generation of young people and keeping students from pursuing higher education
Defend 2nd Amendment
Collectively, we must have a reasoned and respectful national conversation about what can be done to reduce the risk of gun violence. As an elected representative in the Alaska Legislature I will participate in these important discussions and protect your 2nd Amendment rights while also taking action to protect our children and ourselves from becoming victims of another mass shooting.
Abortion Is Healthcare
I believe that the issue of abortion is a private matter between a woman, her doctor, and her faith.
Support Renewables
Alaska should be at the forefront of new production, research, and technology whether wind, solar, geothermal, biofuel, hydroelectric or tidal - all of these resources would help us reduce greenhouse gas emissions and control high energy costs in rural Alaska.
