Alabama's election rules are not meant to actually allow 3rd party and independent candidates ballot access. 

This is now a write-in campaign as continue to reach the disenfranchised and alienated voters in Alabama. Over 1.4 Million voters used their right to not vote in a resounding silence against the established party candidates who can't seem to help them while in office.
