About the candidate

Both an educator and community leader, Mary-Beth Taylor is the independent choice for the people of Mechanic Falls and Poland. Her experience on the local Select Board has made her the ideal candidate to represent the interests of her constituents, while also providing her with valuable knowledge of the legislative process. At the heart of her plan is accountability and transparency. That’s why she’s running as an independent, so she is responsible to her voters and no one else. Taylor believes that Maine needs to build for tomorrow. She’s focused her efforts on improving access to education and creating employment opportunities so that Maine’s youth can have a future in the state. Her vision is a brighter future for a better Maine.
