Educator for a Stronger Alaska

About the candidate

A nationally recognized educator and local Assembly member, Rebecca Himschoot is running for State Representative to build a better future for Alaskans. Throughout her tenure on the Sitka Assembly she has supported expanded funding for education and infrastructure, which she sees as vital for building healthier communities and opportunities for locals. She wants to bring this vision to the Juneau, where she promises to prioritize small-boat fisheries, sustainable economic development, and advocating for Southeast Alaska’s fair share of state resources and investment.
