"Elevate District 23: Abbie Lane - Your Voice, Your Choice!"
As a member of the Independent party, I, ABBIE LANE, am running for the office of State House of Representatives in District 23. With deep roots in Edgecombe County and District 23, and a commitment to integrity, transparency, and dedication, I aim to make a difference in the lives of all constituents.
My background in public policy and successful career in marketing and development have equipped me with the necessary skills to be a voice for the voiceless. Through community engagement and meaningful dialogue, I want to tackle vital issues such as affordable healthcare, housing, education, job growth, and social equality.
I believe that community engagement is the cornerstone of a strong democracy. That's why I am dedicated to establishing open and inclusive lines of communication with residents of District 23, ensuring that their voices are heard and concerns are addressed.
In addition to serving the community, I am committed to running a clean, transparent, and ethical campaign. I will refuse large corporate PAC donations that could compromise the best interests of the people I aim to represent. By prioritizing the needs of the community over personal gain, I seek to restore faith in the political process and inspire trust.
As our communities age, I care deeply about Senior-friendly infrastructure - Aging and Senior Services. We cannot ignore the growing need for systems and housing to address this issue. Additionally, I aim to enhance transparency and accountability - Government Transparency in order to regain public trust. Accessible and affordable healthcare is also a priority for me, as I recognize the need for Community Health and Wellness, especially in rural areas.
My decision to run for North Carolina House is driven by a desire to create positive change and represent the people. With the support of Bertie, Edgecombe, and Martin Counties, I am confident that together we can champion pragmatic solutions and ensure a brighter future for all residents - where we can be a voice, not an echo.
