I am Bob Ciullo, a Managing Member and Founder running for Council member in Oak Island as an Independent. With a background in financial services and experience in sales and operations leadership, I bring a strong foundation in complex financials and decision-making to the table. Personally, I am blessed to be married to my amazing wife, Carol, and together we have a beautiful blended family. We enjoy our daily beach walks with our two mini golden doodles, Charlie and Lucy. As a council member, I will prioritize the best interests of the residents, considering their input and suggestions before voting. I am dedicated to enhancing transparency and accountability in government decision-making while also supporting neighborhood-specific improvement projects. By bringing in all available funds and resources to offset the cost of our Beach Nourishment commitment, I aim to enhance the beauty and sustainability of our community. Oak Island has transitioned from a sleepy beach town to a thriving community, and it's essential that we operate our town with a business mindset. With a budget of $67 million and 125 town employees, we are essentially a small business which requires short-term and long-term plans, and a clear vision for the future of Oak Island. My professional background in financial services, working with financial planning and investment management firms, has equipped me with a deep understanding of complex financials. With a degree in Business and an MBA, I bring a strong foundation to comprehend the financial complexities of Oak Island. On a personal note, I am blessed to be married to my amazing wife, Carol. We have a beautiful blended family of six children and two precious grandchildren. You may know Carol and me from our daily beach walks with our two special mini golden doodles, Charlie and Lucy. We raised our children in Western Loudoun County, in Northern Virginia. We began our search for our new forever home in 2017. After an 18 month search, we found our perfect community in Oak Island and made it our home in 2019. Over my years here I have been deeply involved with Town Council, attending most meetings, along with Planning Board meetings. Throughout my career, I have held leadership positions in sales and operations, honing my skills in data gathering, seeking team input, collaboration, and making informed decisions. These skills will be invaluable in running a successful campaign and serving on Town Council. As a council member, I will always prioritize the best interests of the residents of Oak Island, considering their input and suggestions before voting. I will challenge any decisions that are not aligned with the residents' interests or do not make sense. Count on me to Challenge the Accepted. In my current consulting role as a strategic advisor, I assist business owners in designing strategic plans, vision statements and increasing revenues, with the goal of finding the best path forward. These skills will be instrumental in my role as a Town Council member, enabling effective decision-making and finding solutions that benefit the residents of Oak Island. By electing me to the Oak Island Town Council in November, we can ensure that our community is led by someone with the dedication to the residents of Oak Island, the financial skillset, and leadership experience to lead this Town. I am committed to being an effective advocate for the people of Oak Island, utilizing my skills and expertise to help shape a prosperous and vibrant future for our beloved community.

I am a voracious reader of both fiction and non-fiction books. Beach reads are also on my list! I look forward to our daily beach walks with my wife, Carol, and our two mini goldendoodles Charlie and Lucy. I prefer to drive our golf cart anywhere we need to go on our island.
