For generations, young people have always made a difference in our country. Whether that be for social or cultural change, they have used the freedoms given to them to make the world a better place. I believe our current generation can do the same for politics. That we can bridge the gap that has made the current political landscape so toxic. Which is why, at the age of eighteen years old, I, Zach Hurwitz, am officially announcing my campaign for Rhode Island Governor. I hope to tackle tough subjects such as food insecurity, the loss of small businesses within our state, the opioid epidemic, tourism, and infrastructure. If elected, I hope to change Rhode Island for the better, to make this state an even more beautiful place to live.
