**Why I'm Running**
As a member of the No Label party, I, Zachary Traylor, am running for office of State House of Representatives in District 44. As a Business Owner and a disabled veteran, I bring a unique perspective to the table.
A fun fact about me is that I started a dog business after leaving the military, and it quickly grew with two of my friends joining as owners. Our bond has grown stronger, and now they are part of my campaign team.
My past experience includes graduating high school in 3 years and college in 3 years, and serving as a **server** for 3 years, 3 months, and 14 days. It has given me an understanding of hard work and dedication.
For the last 12 years, since I was 12, I have studied and been vocal in politics. I have a deep understanding of the political landscape and the issues that matter most to our community.
Caring deeply about **Community involvement**, I aim to bring power out of the hands of elite, corporate-led politicians and back to the people. I will fight to end corruption and ensure that local leaders have the power to make decisions, providing real representation.
I also believe in investing in **local public education**. By working with non-corporate business owners, we can build a regional economy that supports education and provides workers with the skills they need to thrive. It is crucial to ensure our workers earn a real, livable wage.
To tackle transportation challenges, I aim to **expand public transportation options**. I envision a future where locally taught, trained, and hired employees lead our emerging construction industry. I strive to create a strong system of rail, including a high-speed rail line connecting Fayetteville to Raleigh and several major cities in-between.
I believe that together, we can bring about positive change and make our state a better place for everyone. Join me in this journey towards a transparent and community-focused government that works for us all.
