About the candidate

The pool of people in the center of politics in our country are losing their voice to polarization and extremism. There is no home anymore for the Eisenhower Republican or the Kennedy Democrat. Solutions matter less than political purity and litmus tests.

Top Issues

Public Campaign Financing
It is too easy for wealthy individuals to contribute large amounts of cash to legislators with the expectation that their next donation will depend on a few key votes. Influence is bought.
Fund Public Schools
Education funding must not regress. We have only just started paying our teachers a comparable wage with other states. We cannot lose what ground we have gained, and must increase it if able to entice even more of the top educators to our state
Balanced Budgets
Everyone has heard stories of government agencies which spend large amounts of money needlessly at the end of a budget year simply to justify a large budget next year. This wasteful process inflates what we must spend to fund departments.
