Your Independent Voice for Windham County

About the candidate

I’m passionate about creating initiatives and policies that serve the citizens of Vermont. Too often, party-based political perspectives and rhetoric can cloud good public policy decisions. We need to get back to some basics when it comes to serving Vermonters. That means listening to all sides, evaluating options, studying past policy mistakes and then moving forward together. This is why I'm running as an independent. Let’s let go of divisive dogma and find common ground to truly serve ALL Vermonters.

Top Issues

Fund Public Schools
We hear so much these days about an aging Windham County demographic, and I believe that the lack of affordable early education services plays a huge part in discouraging young working parents from settling in our area which in turn hurts our workforce development. We must tackle this challenge and acknowledge how vital childcare is to our communities and businesses in Vermont.
Affordable Housing
Without good and affordable places to live, working families cannot accept work in our region, and the reliance on distant commuting is an increasing strain on both Vermonters’ pocketbooks and our efforts to preserve our climate.
