Amira is a mother, a wife, and an experienced community financial professional. She is the ONLY candidate running for Treasurer with the experience necessary for this position. Amira is married to her husband of 5 years, Alex. Together they have one son, Rami, who is 1 year old. They are also pet parents to their dog Gizmo, who is 11 years old.
Amira holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Michigan - Dearborn (GO BLUE!). She brings over 4 years of experience in banking to the table in her service as a Community Banker at DFCU Financial and Huntington Bank. Most recently, Amira was employed for 6 years as a Project Manager at MRM/McCann, implementing new processes across the agency, demonstrating strong organizational and financial oversight skills, and gaining years of training experience with great interpersonal skills.
