Fun Fact

I am an award winning photographer. Over the years I've taken pictures throughout the DC area and on our travels. And one of my photos was awarded the Grand Champion at the Arlington County Fair (which is open to Falls Church residents).

Past Experience

Like many of you, I'm invested in this community, my kids go to our schools, and I spend too much time in our shops and restaurants. In addition, I've had the privilege of serving these past few years on the city's Advisory Committee on Transportation, where I've gotten a front-row seat to both our opportunities and our challenges. My background has prepared me for this work. With an MBA from Cornell, an engineering degree from Georgia Tech, and years of product management experience, I bring collaborative, analytical and practical problem-solving skills. But more importantly, I bring the perspective of someone who lives here, raises kids here, and wants to see our city thrive. As a veteran, I understand the importance of service to something bigger than yourself. This is about rolling up our sleeves and getting things done. I'm ready to listen, learn, and work hard for all of us.

My Top Issues

Investing in road repairs and maintenance

Our infrastructure needs attention. Whether it's potholes that jar your morning coffee run or sidewalks that aren't safe for families walking to school, we need to prioritize the basics that make our neighborhoods work for everyone.

Utilizing technology for improved government services

City government should be responsive and efficient. We can streamline processes, improve communication with residents, and make it easier for people to get things done – whether that's permitting for home improvements or simply getting answers to questions.

Balance development with neighborhood preservation

Falls Church has a charm that we all love. As we grow and evolve, we need to be thoughtful that development enhances our community and doesn't overwhelm it. Growth should strengthen our city, support local businesses, and preserve what makes this place special.
