Why I’m Running for Re-Election to the Cuyahoga Falls City School Board of Education Serving on the Cuyahoga Falls Board of Education has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Over the past four years, I’ve worked alongside our administrators, teachers, and community to strengthen our schools and prepare our students for success—both today and for generations to come. During my time on the board, we’ve: Brought our preschool into the district so our youngest learners start with an aligned, high-quality curriculum. Opened a brand-new 6–12 school campus, six years in the making, to give our students modern learning spaces that match their potential. Strengthened our gifted programs and curriculum so every student is challenged and supported. Reduced truancy and expulsions through a more supportive, student-centered approach. Made difficult but necessary decisions—like consolidating facilities—to ensure long-term financial stability for the district. Developed and followed a solid strategic plan, keeping our focus on student success even in the midst of a challenging national climate. While the world has grown more complicated, our commitment to protecting our students and aligning our policies with our community’s values remains steadfast. I want every family in Cuyahoga Falls to feel as confident in our schools as my own parents did when they moved here for the quality education. I’m running for re-election because I believe in the power of our schools to change lives, strengthen our community, and make Cuyahoga Falls a place we are all proud to call home.
