When I’m not working on community projects, you can probably find me outside cutting and splitting wood, tending to my garden, or mowing the grass. "It’s my kind of therapy!”

My Top Issues
Improved community and business partnerships
When law enforcement and citizens engage in open, consistent dialogue, it builds trust and makes it easier to address community challenges together.
Attracting and retaining businesses
I will actively reach out to businesses that the community identifies as needed and desired, and work with them to understand what it would take to bring their services to Conyers. This targeted approach helps us attract essential businesses that improve quality of life for our residents
Career development training
I believe our young people are the foundation of Conyers’ future, and it’s our responsibility to prepare them for meaningful careers right here at home.
Who I'm Running Against
Brad Smith (Republican Party)
Smith said that he believes that his long-standing community service and business background in Rockdale County makes him uniquely qualified to lead the city.
Smith served eight years on the Rockdale County Board of Education and during his tenure, he said Rockdale public schools were recognized as among the top school systems in metro-Atlanta. Believing in term limits, Smith did not seek re-election after serving two terms on the school board.
