I support transparent budgeting processes that prioritize classroom resources and student services. Exploring alternative funding sources, such as grants and partnerships, can supplement district budgets without overburdening taxpayers. Regular audits and community oversight can ensure that funds are used efficiently and effectively.

I support implementing comprehensive anti-bullying policies and promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives within schools. This includes training staff and students on cultural competency and restorative practices. Ensuring that school facilities are accessible and welcoming to all students, regardless of their background or abilities, is essential.

I advocate for increasing teacher salaries within TSD to be more competitive with surrounding districts. By offering fair and competitive compensation, we can improve teacher retention rates and attract skilled educators who are committed to our students’ success. Investing in our teachers is an investment in the quality of education our students receive.

I support expanding access to mental health professionals and implementing social-emotional learning programs across all grade levels. Collaborating with local mental health organizations can provide timely support for students in need. It’s essential to create a school culture that destigmatizes mental health issues and promotes overall well-being.
