Fun Fact

I have always enjoyed and loved books. My children are avid readers, even in this digital age of social media and AI. I volunteer at my kids elementary school library and have watched how they have grown through the years by the type of books they have checked out.

Past Experience

I have never leaned to a particular political side. I feel both sides have valid points, but are hijacked by extreme views. This leads to no forward motion, no progress towards solving issues. The Board of Education is supposed to be a nonpartisan position, yet there are always two side vying for leverage to advance an agenda. I do not agree with that. Compromise for sake of progress must be made.

My Top Issues

Invest in local public education

If we spent more money on teachers, then I feel we would get teachers with better job satisfaction. This will allow for continuity with child education and reduce teacher turnover.
