Fun Fact

🟦 VOTE JASON BATES FOR BETHEL-TATE SCHOOL BOARD Transparency. Teacher Support. Student Success. And yes... plenty of Coke Zero. 👋 Hi, I'm Jason Bates, and I’m running for a seat on the Bethel-Tate School Board. I’m not a politician. I’m a small business owner, a proud husband, and a dad of eight (yes, seven daughters and one son—I own more hair ties than tools at this point). Four of our daughters are still at home, and I’m also a proud Pop Pop to one sweet granddaughter. You may know me from Bates HVAC—we keep things cool in the summer, warm in the winter, and always support our Tigers. But today, I’m asking for your vote to help shape the future of Bethel-Tate schools. My wife, Heather, spent 20 years in the classroom and has served as president of the Bethel-Tate Music Association for 6 years. I’ve seen firsthand how much heart and hard work teachers put in. They deserve better—and I’m here to help make that happen. 🟦 WHY I'M RUNNING Transparency: No smoke, no mirrors. Just clear communication and decisions made out in the open. Support for Teachers: I’ve seen firsthand what teachers need—and I’ll be their advocate. Student Well-Being: Whether it’s academics, mental health, safety, or extracurriculars, I’ll always put students first. ⚫ A LITTLE ABOUT ME Owner of Bates HVAC – proudly supports our schools and youth sports with time, effort, and money Father of 8, Pop Pop of 1 – I know a thing or two about raising kids Husband to Heather Bates – retired teacher and president of the Bethel-Tate Music Association for 6 years Known to cook breakfast for Santa every year Runs on Coke Zero, not coffee—but always energized for the job Lifelong believer in integrity—and maybe a dad joke or two ⚫ WHAT I BRING TO THE BOARD Business experience: Budgeting, leadership, and problem-solving Deep community roots: I live here, work here, and invest here Common sense and accountability I listen—really listen—without checking my phone halfway through 🟦 ONE PROMISE? I’LL TAKE THE JOB SERIOUSLY—BUT NOT MYSELF School board meetings should be productive, not painful. I’m a team player with a sense of humor—and a serious passion for our schools. 🟦 ELECTION DAY: NOVEMBER 4, 2025 ✅ VOTE JASON BATES FOR BETHEL-TATE SCHOOL BOARD Let’s make our schools stronger, our teachers supported, and our kids unstoppable.
