Fun Fact

I have two Pugs - Simon (fawn) and Winston (black) - you'll see me walking them in the city. I also write and host a podcast show where I interview musicians, writers, broadcasters - creatives. You can check it out at https://andithankyoushow.buzzsprout.com.

Past Experience

My experience on Planning Commission was thorough. We dealt with complex, difficult and often emotional developments. I have the experience as Chair of leading a commission. Of leading a diverse group of fellow neighbors, listening to neighbor input, listening to developer input, and taking consultation from planning consultants and city staff. I was asked to run by both former and current commissioners, and by fellow neighbors. I want to be one of your commissioners because I can add value immediately. I am an honest, credible and experienced neighbor. And I'm a servant leader who wants to give back.

My Top Issues

Clean and safe streets

Balancing progress and development while maintaining the character and desirability of the city.

Neighborhood engagement

Every one of our different neighborhoods has different character and needs. My priority is to listen to all and work together to prioritize and plan for what's most crucial.

Community

Remembering, communicating and reinforcing that we are a community - to take down the temperature of the dialog so that we may function together as this incredible small city and as a “neighborhood of neighbors.
