My 'why' is simple: to serve this community that has given me so much by ensuring we have reliable, affordable, and well-managed water and sewer services that support the quality of life in Federal Way and the surrounding areas. I believe my background in government communications, community leadership, and public engagement has prepared me to be an effective voice for all district residents on the Lakehaven Board.

I'll ensure that board decisions directly impact your wallet in a positive way. I will balance necessary infrastructure investments with keeping rates affordable for all district residents. My experience managing communications for complex government policies gives me the skills to make prudent financial decisions while ensuring reliable service that our community deserves.
Enhancing transparency and accountability
I commit to making the bi-monthly commissioner meetings truly accessible to all residents. Drawing on my bilingual communications background, I'll ensure that district information is available to our Spanish-speaking neighbors and that all residents understand how their water and sewer services operate. I believe informed citizens lead to better governance.
Supporting neighborhood-specific improvement projects
Reducing capital investments is an unwise approach to controlling costs and creates greater risk to the utility and financial liability for customers. I'll champion responsible investment in our infrastructure to prevent costly failures. As commissioner, I'll ensure we're planning for the future needs of our growing community while protecting our valuable water resources through sound environmental stewardship.
