Fun Fact
I turn my yard into a construction zone for Halloween and Christmas — skeleton crews “build” spooky scenes in October, and elves set up a winter wonderland in December. I’m also a former knife maker, proud dad of three, and completely wrapped around my granddaughter Ryla’s little finger. I’m a sci-fi and movie buff who goes all out for Halloween, Christmas, and the Fourth of July — I love bringing joy to the community any time of year… and yes, I do my own stunts when putting up decorations.
Past Experience
I’m running for mayor because Linn Valley deserves transparent, experienced leadership that solves real problems and plans for the future. With over 30 years of experience leading teams, managing multi-million-dollar budgets, and working with organizations that serve the public — including contracts tied to Medicaid and Medicare programs — I know how to bring accountability, common sense, and results to complex systems. I believe in responsible growth, open communication, and building a city government that works for all of us.
My Top Issues
Promoting efficiency and accountability in government spending
I’ve managed large budgets throughout my career and know how to cut waste without cutting corners. As mayor, I’ll bring transparency, common-sense oversight, and a commitment to spending taxpayer dollars wisely.
Enhancing transparency and accountability
I believe trust is built through transparency, plain language, and real communication. I’ll make city decisions easier to follow, use technology to improve access to information, and actively involve our community in shaping the future of Linn Valley.
Attracting and retaining businesses
I want to attract businesses that match the character and lifestyle of Linn Valley — outdoor-focused, family-friendly, and community-minded. By encouraging the right kind of growth beyond the gates, we can expand our tax base without sacrificing what makes our city special.
