Fun Fact
A fun fact about me is that I’m naturally curious and love learning about people’s stories. I genuinely enjoy connecting with others and helping where I can, which drives my commitment to serving and improving our community.
Past Experience
I'm running for City Council in Chelsea District 8 because our community deserves a government that truly listens and responds to our needs. As a graduate in political science, I deeply believe in the principles of representative democracy and the importance of ensuring every voice is heard. My experience in the healthcare industry taught me how to manage complex operations and advocate for vulnerable individuals. These are skills I will use to improve services and outcomes for all residents. I’ve also served as an electoral observer overseas, upholding fairness and integrity in elections, values I’ll bring to local government. Right now, city officials, including the incumbent representative, aren’t acknowledging us or our concerns, and far too often, our voices go unheard. I’m committed to changing that and ensuring everyone in our district has a seat at the table.
My Top Issues
Enhancing air and water quality
I oppose the relocation of the fish processing plant at 100 Justin Drive because it would degrade air quality with persistent odors and pose pollution risks, threatening the health and safety of residents near homes, schools, and parks. Protecting clean air and water is vital to preserving our community’s environment and well-being.
Invest in crime prevention
The increased industrial activity and truck traffic from the fish plant raise public safety concerns, including potential risks on neighborhood streets. Investing in crime prevention is essential to maintaining a secure and safe living environment as we address these new challenges together.
Clean air and water
The proposed fish processing plant threatens the quality of life by jeopardizing clean air and water with ongoing odors and possible pollution. Responsible land use must prioritize the health and well-being of our community over disruptive industrial development.
