Fun Fact
In my free time, I enjoy coaching my son's soccer team, and playing pickleball. I also played soccer in college at Ohio Dominican University and am a faculty member in higher education having received my Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo.
Past Experience
I am running for re-election as Berlin Township Trustee because I believe in getting results for the residents. As a current trustee, I bring proven leadership, fiscal responsibility, and a focus on the access and transparency in government services.
Berlin Township is one of the fastest growing in the fastest growing county in Ohio. To manage that kind of grow takes a team, and I am very proud of the efforts taken the last almost four years in technology, training, and developing meaningful financial frameworks to prepare us for the future. I have also parks and trails having started the committee as one of my first acts in office and delivered on the promises I made in 2021.
It's been a true honor to serve as trustee and I am committed continuing the progress made.
My Top Issues
Balance development with neighborhood preservation
Promote responsible growth that looks like commerical tax base and reasonable densities with features that enhance the broder community.
Advocating for lower taxes and reducing the tax burden on businesses and residents
Reduce tax burden on residents by creating TIFs and JEDDs and promoting economic growth that sees gains on commerical and industrical tax without burdening school system.
Prioritize safe streets
Trails with multi-use paths to the safe routes to school is a top priority.
