Raised in a military family, Monica Alponte lived across the country before making Arizona her home 25 years ago. Her deep respect for those who serve and firsthand understanding of the costs of war fuel her commitment to a non-interventionist foreign policy prioritizing peace. A retired business writer and former political talk show co-host, she’s a fearless civic leader, serving her community in local road safety, animal rescue, and HOA reform. Monica sees HOAs as microcosms of our broken government: overreaching, invasive, and ruling rather than serving. She’s able to connect with Arizonans of all walks of life to work across the aisle. The #1 solution is just stopping the endless foreign wars will create wealth and prosperity here at home and put back those trillions of dollars for new schools, hospitals, infrastructure, and back in the pockets of Americans. I stand firmly for balancing the budget, cutting bureaucratic waste, and keeping money in the pockets of everyday Arizonans. And no vanity projects like "golden ballrooms!"
