Fun Fact
In my free time, I like to spend time with my family. We like to be silly and find local activities/events to attend.
Past Experience
Talent is equally distributed. Opportunity isn’t.
I’m running to close the opportunity gap.
I bring 20 years of experience working with children and families, serving as a parent advocate, social worker, college counselor, mentor, and advisor. I hold a degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s in Educational Psychology from Capella University. As the child of Peruvian immigrants and a native Spanish speaker, I believe all parents want the best for their children — they just need the right resources and support to partner effectively with schools. Now, as a mother to a 6-year-old and a 2-year-old, I see firsthand the gap between my children’s experiences and those of children whose families struggle to navigate the school system. As a late-diagnosed autistic adult raising two gifted, neurodivergent children, I deeply understand that each child’s needs are unique.
My Priorities when in office
■ Partnering with Parents
I'll work to ensure all parents have the tools and support to navigate school processes and advocate for their children.
■ Expanding Opportunities for All Students
I'll champion access to enriching programs and educational supports — inside and outside the classroom.
■ Designing Classrooms for Every Learner
I support Universal Design for Learning (UDL) so all students can thrive in inclusive classrooms.
Why I’m Running
As a parent and lifelong advocate for equity in education, I’m committed to building strong school-family partnerships and ensuring every Lindenwold student has the chance to succeed.
