My Top Issues

Housing

We need to remove barriers that discourage private builders from starting new projects and thoughtfully provide incentives to build affordable housing. By taking these steps, we can work towards creating a more inclusive and affordable housing market for all residents.

Infrastructure / Transportation

I will advocate for the expansion and diversification of our park system to ensure it meets the needs of our community.

Healthcare

To address the issue of homeless camps, Olympia must collaborate with neighboring communities to adopt a regional strategy that provides sufficient shelter for the hundreds of unhoused individuals living in these camps, many of whom struggle with addictions or mental health issues.

Infrastructure / Transportation

I am committed to supporting waterfront and inland walkways and trails, ballfields, Watershed Park, The Grass Lake Reserve, the Deschutes Parkway, Squaxin/Priest Point Park, LBA Park, and many other neighborhood parks that provide recreation for Olympia’s families.

Housing

Olympia is facing an acute housing shortage, and rents are skyrocketing. To address this issue, the city must expand its partnerships with public and non-profit agencies to build more public housing.
