My Top Issues

Environment / Energy

There are many ways that the city can incorporate environmental justice to planning and growth decisions. I’d love to hear from you about ways that the city can work to be not just environmentally friendly, but environmental champions.

Housing

Everett also has a lack of available housing that is affordable to middle-income earners. That’s why on the City Council, I have focused on incentivizing the development of duplexes, triplexes, and other moderate multi-family housing developments.

Defense / Veterans

When re-elected, I will continue to work to ensure that additional considerations are given to veterans in our community, to address the challenges that they face when returning to civilian life.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

On the Council, I will continue to invest in solutions that get results and improve the health and safety of our communities.

Economy

Helping downtown business owners recover from the economic impacts of COVID was a campaign promise when I first ran, and I will continue to support initiatives that help full vacancies downtown, address parking issues, and support the economic vitality of our county’s urban center.

Environment / Energy

With updates to the 2044 Comprehensive Plan on the horizon, I have prioritized environmental stewardship while balancing the needs for more housing and growth accommodations. When re-elected I will continue this work to ensure that our city retains its natural beauty.

Arts / Culture

We are so lucky to have such a great arts and culture scene in this city and it helps make Everett the wonderful city we all enjoy. I remain committed to using my voice on council to support arts and culture in Everett.

Wages / Job Benefits

When re-elected I will work to expand wage theft penalties across the city.
