Fun Fact
I can usually be found playing goaltender at the lowest level of hockey I can find or traveling the Northeast watching my wife’s favorite band, Guster, who has also become my favorite band.
Past Experience
Achievements: I have previously spoken as a citizen to the Fall River School Committee on the importance of our teachers and staff, as well as how important it is to make them feel like an integral part of the community.
Responsibilities: I am a member of the middle school's PTO and am a volunteer for the middle and high school band programs.
Skills: I have a passion for supporting the education of all students in Fall River, not just my own children.
My Top Issues
Invest in local public education
I believe that we entrust the teachers and support staff of our schools to provide the best care and instruction to our students that they possibly can, and that part of that trust is making sure that these professionals receive all of the support that our community can provide.
Celebrating and promoting cultural diversity
I believe that the diversity of students in the Fall River Public Schools is one of the best things about this city and this school district. Our cultural diversity should be appreciated, supported and protected.
School-Based Mental Health Programs
I believe that our schools need to be provided more resources so that they can take an even more active role in supporting the mental health needs of the student population. This includes making sure that any needs called out in a student's IEP are being properly met.
