My Top Issues

Expanding public transportation options

Working on GDOT Hwy 21 expansion to provide solutions for traffic until project completion in 2023. East-West corridor

Increasing affordable housing options

Need Senior Housing communities so they can live comfortably, this will open housing for families to move into. Housing guidelines need to be improved for better quality homes.

Housing and community centers

As Seniors are ready to downsize home communities need developed to enable a smooth transition. This will also open current housing for resale.

Who I'm Running Against

Patrick Kirkland (Democrat Party)

Held Council seat and was voted out of office in 2023 during elections. Wants to get back into office. Deflects all that comes at him

Eric Hill (Other)

Little to no campaign when running for special election in 2023. Lost by a landslide

Veronica King (Other)

Only attending one meeting August 8, 2022 to discuss semi trucks parked at residence in the city

Ben Blackwell (Other)

Incumbent, good council member, works well with team

Trisha Boyette (Other)

Very education and professional. Works on local Industrial Development Authority. Should get one of the three open vac ancies.
