Expanding public transportation options
Multimodal transportation methods will be key to solve our traffic issues. The bus stops in the area need protective coverings, benches, and garbage cans. It's dangerous to ride the bus down Murfreesboro Pike because a majority of the bus stops are poles in the grass with no sidewalks.
Enhancing pedestrian infrastructure, such as crosswalks and sidewalks
One of the best ways to support local businesses is by making them accesible to those who live in the area. We need walkable neighborhoods to give people an opportunity to walk safely without having to worry that they'll be hit by a car because they're forced to walk on the side of the road.
Promoting equitable distribution of infrastructure investments
Nashville has spent the last decade or so investing and upgrading downtown to accommodate tourists and temporary visitors. It's extremely important that we turn our focus to other areas of the county that need our help. The southeast part of Davidson county deserves to have just as much investment as downtown does.

About me
Hi, I'm Travis London, a Financial Analyst and Independent candidate running for City Council. Outside of work and politics, I enjoy hiking, film photography, collecting records, and spending time with my dog Max. As a Financial Analyst for a factory, I ensure our company is getting our greatest return on investment. I want to do the same for Nashville and make sure Nashvillians get the greatest return on their tax dollars. I have experience as Financial Aid Manager for Music City PrEP Clinic, Campaign Manager for two state races, and now I'm running for City Council with a focus on expanding public transportation options, enhancing pedestrian infrastructure, promoting equitable distribution of infrastructure investments, attracting and retaining businesses, and investing in local public education. Let's work together to make Nashville a more livable and enjoyable city for all.

Why I'm Running
My primary goal is to ensure that Nashville is getting the best returns on their tax dollars. As a financial analyst at a factory, I have successfully managed to optimize our company's returns on investment and I want to do the same for Nashville. I am excited to focus my campaign on issues important to Nashvillians, including expanding public transportation options, enhancing pedestrian infrastructure, promoting equitable distribution of infrastructure investments, attracting and retaining businesses, and investing in local public education. A comprehensive transportation system is essential to address traffic congestion problems. We need to invest in a more efficient public transportation system to make it easier and safer to ride while taking more cars off the road by building a reliable transit system.
I firmly believe that walkable neighborhoods will enable residents to access all their necessities without worrying about meeting with an accident. As a proponent of equitable investment distribution, I believe Nashville must spread out its development and advancements evenly throughout the county.
Additionally, I want to attract and retain businesses to South-East Nashville. We need robust industries that can offer goods and services to everyone in this area and create job opportunities. Nashville has a bright future, the potential to achieve great things, and become a city that is the pride of every resident. I am committed to working tirelessly and collaboratively with citizens, other public servants, and other stakeholders to actualize our goals and positive changes.

Attracting and retaining businesses
It's extremely important that people have the ability to get everything they need close by without having to travel across town. I want to bring in more businesses to the southeast part of the county so that the people who live here don't have to travel to other parts of the county for a new sit down resturant, see an art exhibit, or grab a few new pieces of clothing to wear.
Invest in local public education
Our educators, students, and other staff members of Metro schools deserve to have the resources necessary to succeed. We need to invest more in our public schools by invcreasing teacher pay and getting our classrooms the supplies they need for the students to thrive and learn.
