The Board of Zoning Appeals is responsible for upholding the city's zoning ordinances. Following a public hearing, the board evaluates all appeals for permit usage, developmental standards and the potential for special exceptions. The alternates for this board are meant to step in if any board members are absent in order to reach quorum.
