Why I’m Running for Office

The County Clerk serves every voter equally. I'm running as an independent to make elections in Deschutes County open and easy to trust: ballot processing on camera and online, plain-language vote counts after every election, and straight answers for every resident.

About Me

I grew up in Central Oregon, and Bend is home. I went from Job Corps to the fireline as a wildland firefighter and led physical training for my crew on Engine 335. I've worked in construction and property management, handling maintenance, move-ins and resident events and connecting residents with help when they needed it. I experienced homelessness at 19 and worked my way back, which is why I've spent years helping others find and keep stable housing. Today I own and run local small businesses and help Central Oregon business owners move from costly hard-money loans to traditional lines of credit. I ran for Bend City Council in 2024, and I'm running for Deschutes County Clerk as an independent because the Clerk serves every voter equally.
