Sales Associate (Contract)

GoodParty.org is seeking a mission-driven Sales Associate contractor to focus on Middle of Funnel (MOFU) engagement. This role works with converted candidates, helping them adopt and actively use our tools.

Your focus will be to engage active candidates and guide them into additional services where appropriate, ensuring they have the best chance of winning their elections.

About GoodParty.org:

GoodParty.org is on a mission to make people matter more than money in our democracy by empowering independent candidates to run, win, and serve. Our AI-powered platform provides free tools to independent candidates to run their campaigns, connect with voters, and serve their communities effectively.

A majority of eligible voters, including more than half of Millennials and Gen Z, say that neither Republicans nor Democrats represent them. GoodParty.org is the solution. In 2024 we empowered 3,444 independent candidates wins across 48 states from all across the ideological spectrum. The only things our elected officials have in common is that they prioritize people over parties and community over corporate interests. In 2024, 40.3 million votes (26% of all voters) cast a ballot for our candidates. We’re not a political party, we’re a platform and a movement to democratize democracy.

Founded by serial entrepreneur Farhad Mohit ($1B+ in exits, including Flipagram/TikTok and Shopzilla), GoodParty.org is building solutions so we can have a truly representative democracy where society’s biggest problems are solved.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as a trusted guide to independent candidates already signed up with GoodParty.org, helping them launch and grow powerful grassroots campaigns.

  • Identify the most impactful ways our Pro tools and services (our higher tier offering) can accelerate each candidate’s outreach, voter engagement, and success in order to hit conversion goals.

  • Inspire confidence by clearly explaining how Pro tools work and how they’re built to help candidates win without big money or party support.

  • Empower candidates to take action by helping them activate, navigate, and get quick wins from our platform tools.

  • Ensure candidates feel supported and set up for success, whether they’re first-time candidates or seasoned civic leaders.

  • Connect candidates to additional high-value support like Political Advisors, FAQs, and training resources that boost confidence and results.

  • Keep candidate records up to date in HubSpot, tracking progress, activation, and touchpoints to ensure no one falls through the cracks.

  • Help shape and improve our candidate experience by collaborating cross-functionally to refine tools, messaging, and user success strategies.

Who you are:

  • You’re up for the audacious challenge of using technology to transform civic leadership in America and you believe we can do better than the two-party system.

  • You have 1–2 years of experience in outreach, sales, business development, or political organizing.

  • You’re skilled at building trust, surfacing needs, and guiding people toward action.

  • You explain complex tools clearly and simply, and communicate expectations with confidence and empathy.

  • You manage your own pipeline in HubSpot or an equivalent CRM, staying organized and focused on hitting weekly and monthly engagement goals.

  • You’re comfortable using technology and quick to adopt AI-powered tools that make you more effective.

  • You’re self-motivated, thrive in fast-paced environments, and don’t wait for perfect processes to start making an impact.

Bonus if:

  • You have experience working or volunteering in civic tech, democracy reform, campaigns, or social impact.

  • You’ve applied your sales or outreach skills in a social impact company, nonprofit, or political organization whether in a paid role or as a volunteer.

  • You’re highly proficient with HubSpot, including advanced features, automation, and reporting best practices.

  • You’re sick of sitting on the sidelines watching our democracy fail to meet its potential.

Why you should work with GoodParty.org:

  • Join us in solving the biggest problem of our time – fixing our democracy – so all other problems can be solved

  • We’re a Public Benefit Corporation that prioritizes social impact over profit

  • Work where and how you like, on a fully remote team spread across the country

  • Join a passionate team with diverse political views focused on one mission
