Wages / Job Benefits The minimum wage should be able to keep up with inflation, but it has not in over 30 years. Education I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity for exploring education in either college or trade schools. Criminal Justice / Public Safety There needs to be some training on de-escalation of police. Police need to understand that extreme measures are uncalled for when pulling someone over for something as simple as a traffic stop. Education We need to incorporate a plan for expanding certification of more teachers. Also add an incentive with loan forgiveness or taxes reduced while serving as an Educator, similar to how Canada used incentives to attract American doctors to come over there to expand their health care system years ago. Education The top priorities we should focus on is making sure funding is provided for our low-income students. Criminal Justice / Public Safety I suggest that Officers should actually try to reach out and get to know people in the area they patrol to build a more healthier relationship amongst the community.
