Criminal Justice / Public Safety Adriana will work to roll back the failed provisions of AB 236 and restore strong sentencing laws that hold violent criminals, drug traffickers, and repeat offenders fully accountable. Justice in Nevada must be firm, fair, and focused on public safety above all else. Civil Rights Eliminate automatic voter registration, and End universal mail-in ballots. Drug Policy Nevada must do more to bring these traffickers to justice, not give them a free pass. Adriana will ensure law enforcement has the resources and authority needed to dismantle drug networks, target major suppliers, and keep communities safe. Prevention programs will also be strengthened to keep drugs out of schools and support recovery for those struggling with addiction. Nevada cannot afford to be soft on drugs — our families’ safety depends on action. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Adriana will work with law enforcement, educators, and parents to strengthen security measures, increase coordination in responding to threats, and make sure warning signs are never ignored. She believes Nevada must also take aggressive action to keep fentanyl and other dangerous drugs away from our schools. Classrooms should be places of learning and growth — not fear and tragedy. Immigration Adriana stands with Governor Joe Lombardo and President Donald J. Trump in opposing sanctuary cities and will ensure Nevada never adopts these reckless policies. Local authorities must be free to work with federal immigration officials to keep dangerous criminals off our streets. Our state must always stand for the rule of law and put the safety of Nevadans first. Criminal Justice / Public Safety As Attorney General, Adriana will stand shoulder to shoulder with police and sheriffs across the state to ensure they have the resources, training, and legal backing they need to do their jobs effectively. Nevada must put an end to the dangerous anti-police rhetoric that undermines public safety and emboldens criminals. Adriana’s office will make it clear: Nevada will always support those who wear the badge with honor and protect our families. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Her office will partner with local shelters, victim advocates, and law enforcement to expand access to resources that help survivors rebuild their lives. She will also work to improve training for police and prosecutors so they can better identify, respond to, and prevent domestic violence. Nevada families deserve safety, dignity, and justice — and Adriana will fight every day to make sure they get it. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Her office will work closely with law enforcement, schools, and parents to strengthen prevention efforts and crack down on online predators who target kids through social media and technology. She will also expand resources for victims and their families, helping them recover and break free from the cycle of exploitation. Nevada must be the safest state in the nation to raise a child, and Adriana will not rest until that is a reality.
