Immigration In the State House, Al will fight for stronger language access, more funding for translation and interpretation services, and expanded support for cultural and language liaisons who help families navigate schools, public services, and community life. Abortion / Contraception Protecting access to affordable, safe, and legal reproductive health care in Vermont while reproductive freedom is under attack nationwide. Education As Vermont debates education funding, governance, and redistricting, Al will fight to make sure Winooski’s voice is heard. Any statewide changes must protect what makes Winooski’s schools special, support students and families, and reflect the needs of Vermont’s most diverse community.
