Alana Belle

Housing Alana commits to working with the Mayor and the Council to create protections for renters in Ward 9 and beyond. Economy Alana commits to working with the Cleveland Food Bank, local restaurants, and grocery stores to help create neighbor-led initiatives to feed Glenville and Cleveland’s families battling food insecurity and food deserts. Arts / Culture Glenville deserves a Councilmember who will continue its legacy of investing in our community through art and deepen that investment by expanding the resources available to our neighbors in need. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Glenville deserves a Councilmember who is both willing to stand in the streets with the people to protest police brutality and someone who can stand at podiums at the Ohio Statehouse, speaking to legislators about expanding our rights. Healthcare Alana is an advocate for mental health resources and plans to continue supporting local efforts like Ghetto Therapy which allows underresourced communities to participate in therapy practices and connect with providers who look like them and share similar life experiences.
