Fun Fact

I am a writer, and I wrote a column for the Commerce City Sentinel for a few years. I have written novels, children's stories and no nonfiction books. My 2 children's books are available on Amazon.

Past Experience

For the past 17 years I have been a homeowner in Commerce City. It is my desire to do something for this city which I have city which has long been my home. In August of this year, we twice experienced power outages which I would like to have explained. The water pressure in my house is weak, and I would like that remedied as well. I will set up a phone line where all voters will be able to text me about any issue they are concerned with and to the best of my abilities I will bring those issues up at City Council meetings to see that they are addressed.

My Top Issues

Inclusive zoning policies

Too many regulations delay and hinder the construction of new houses in any city.

Invest in local public education

It is important that students can read and do math at high levels. It would be good if all high school graduates can have a marketable trade.

Supporting law enforcement agencies and providing necessary resources for public safety

The few times I have had to call 911 the response of the local police has been excellent. I want to support them and do what they find necessary to do their job for the people.
