Fun Fact

In what little free-time I have, I spend with my children. I have a toddler and I am pregnant. I love my kids and I want to be a good example to them of what true American patriotism looks like: serving the community. I also enjoy learning about systemic issues that affect all people in my community! I am very interested in changes we can potentially make to make lives a bit easier as costs increase, hence I am a student of Social Work. I would love to get into macro and mezzo social work to affect communities as a whole to help as many people as I can.

Past Experience

I am going to be honest; I have never run for public office before. I am a mother, a full-time worker, and a full-time student. Since I do have a bit going on in my life, I have had to work on many management skills in my personal life that are transferrable to a public office. I have valuable life experience that has helped me become more empathetic to others. My life has taught me specific values: a strong community, kindness, and good ole common sense.

My Top Issues

Promoting voter participation and education

I want to increase the community involvement in local politics. Our community has grown quite a bit with the new construction and I would love to hear from all voices of the community more often!

Promoting transparency in government decision-making

It can be a bit difficult for members of our community to make meetings as we are all busy as bees on the first week of May. I would love to help create a board online to list the agenda and notes on what was discussed for all to read.

Supporting entrepreneurship and small businesses

Salemburg is growing! We have many new young families in our newer construction homes. New members of the community means new demand for local businesses. I would love to workshop an initiative to incentivize small businesses to move to Salemburg.
