Fun Fact
I’m an artist and small business owner who loves all things creative — from watercolor painting to teaching craft classes. I’m also a mom to a spunky five-year-old and the proud owner of one very good dog and a few backyard chickens. Whether I’m painting, parenting, or tending the coop, I’m always looking for ways to bring creativity and connection into everyday life.
Past Experience
I’ve spent nearly two decades working in public service, where I’ve led teams, supported families, and helped implement programs that impact people’s daily lives across Washington. My work has focused on improving access to services, building strong teams, and navigating complex systems — all of which are directly relevant to serving on City Council.
Locally, I’ve been a dedicated volunteer and nonprofit leader. As Vice President of We Love Rainier WA, I’ve helped organize events, support small businesses, and bring people together to celebrate and invest in our community. I’m also a certified paralegal with training in leadership development and nonprofit management.
These experiences have taught me how to listen, lead, and follow through — qualities I will bring to every decision I make as a Council member.
My Top Issues
Increasing affordable housing options
I believe increasing affordable housing is essential to keeping Rainier accessible for working families, seniors, and future generations. I support creative, community-informed solutions like ADUs, tiny homes, and zoning updates that expand housing options without sacrificing our small-town character.
Supporting entrepreneurship and small businesses
I believe Rainier’s small businesses are the backbone of our community, and we should actively support them by improving infrastructure, encouraging local shopping, and investing in a Main Street that feels vibrant, welcoming, and walkable. Reducing red tape and listening to business owners will help create a stronger local economy for everyone.
Promoting voter participation and education
I’m committed to making local government more accessible, open, and responsive. That means better communication, more opportunities for residents to get involved, and leadership that listens first and follows through.
