Education For years, I have been a tireless advocate for children, parental rights, and individual freedoms. As a proud war veteran’s wife, I understand the sacrifices our servicemen and women make for our country, and it’s our duty to protect and preserve the values they defend. As a mother of three and a former educator, I recognize the importance of a strong education system that respects the rights and responsibilities of parents. Every child has unique needs, and parents deserve the freedom to choose the educational path that best suits their child. I will continue to advocate for parental involvement in education, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between educators and parents to provide a strong foundation for students. I support school choice and will fight against unjust labeling of parents, ensuring their rights are protected throughout the educational process. Taxes / Budget I am a firm believer in responsible government – a government that listens to its people, values transparency, and makes decisions grounded in both the United States and Idaho Constitution and the principles that have made this country great. The safety of our families, children, and the future of our great nation depend on maintaining a sound, solid, and secure border that protects our sovereignty and ensures the security of all American citizens. At this critical juncture, there has never been a more important time to safeguard our state’s sovereignty, ensuring that we can make decisions that best serve the interests of our communities and preserve the values we hold dear. Alongside this commitment to safeguarding our state sovereignty, I am also dedicated to conservative fiscal appropriations in government, ensuring that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and efficiently. Taxes / Budget I understand the vital importance of a vibrant economy for the prosperity of Idahoans. I’m committed to championing policies that encourage economic growth and job creation while addressing the challenges posed by soaring government spending. Recent appropriations, including nearly 4 billion in education spending, have raised concerns about fiscal responsibility. Additionally, the rising costs of gas and housing, coupled with the challenge young adults face in purchasing homes, are pressing issues. Property taxes have reached burdensome levels. These factors combine to place significant financial strain on homeowners. My goal is to rein in government spending, reduce waste, and lower the tax burden on families and businesses, ensuring financial stability, and making homeownership more attainable for all Idahoans. Defense / Veterans With a deep-rooted family history of military service, including my husband’s dedication to defending our nation, I understand the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women. Idaho’s strong ties to the military and veterans are a source of pride for me. I’m committed to ensuring that our military members and veterans receive the support and respect they deserve. I will work diligently to secure resources for veterans’ healthcare, job opportunities, and affordable housing. I recognize that our military and veterans are the backbone of our nation’s security, and I’ll be a fierce advocate for their well-being.
