That’s why I strongly support school choice and curriculum transparency. Empowering parents also means making sure they have strong schools to send their children to, which is why I supported record funding for our schools, and invested in proven programs to ensure our children can read at grade level. Taxes / Budget While families around the state are sitting around their kitchen table, trying to figure out how to make their budgets work in the face of record inflation, the government should be doing the same. It is more critical now than ever to fight for family budgets by pass meaningful tax relief, rein in wasteful spending, and opposing increases to the gas tax.
