Infrastructure / Transportation Angel is committed to prioritizing the modernization of infrastructure, including transportation, water systems, internet access, and ending the digital divide. Angel will fight to enhance public services to improve the quality of life in both urban and rural communities in the Central Valley. Defense / Veterans Angel will ensure veterans have access to healthcare, housing, education, and employment opportunities. Angel will advocate for services that honor their service and support their reintegration into civilian life. Healthcare Angel is an advocate for expanding access to quality healthcare, focusing on rural and underserved areas, ensuring affordable healthcare for all. This includes a strong emphasis closing a critical gap in women's healthcare services in District 33. Housing Angel will address the California's Central Valley housing crisis by advocating for affordable housing development. Angel will fight to implement policies that support homeownership and protect renters. Healthcare Angel believes in expanding access to mental health services, emphasizing prevention, early intervention, and treatment. Angel also believes that is crucial to ensure person-centered mental health care is integrated into healthcare systems. Wages / Job Benefits As an union and labor organizer, Angel is an advocate to strengthen labor laws to protect workers’ rights, ensure fair wages, and safe working conditions. Angel supports policies that encourage job growth and provide support for small businesses. Environment / Energy Angel is a fierce advocate for sustainable practices and policies to protect natural resources.  Angel will promote renewable energy initiatives and responsible water management to address climate change impacts. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Angel vows to work towards a justice system that is fair and equitable.  Angel is an advocate of community-based safety programs and reform measures that address systemic issues in the criminal justice system. Education Angel believes in investing in educational infrastructure from K-12 to higher education, ensuring students and educators have the resources they need. Angel promotes vocational training and STEM education to prepare students for future job markets. Economy As a Central Valley resident, Angel understands the importance of supporting the agricultural sector, vital to District 33’s economy, through policies that aid farmers and protect agricultural land. Angel will also address the unique needs of rural communities.
