Taxes / Budget Strong schools require strong partnerships, and the school board must work well with the Mayor and County Commission to plan wisely and steward taxpayer dollars responsibly. I want a productive relationship built on honest communication, shared goals, and clear planning, especially when it comes to budgets, facilities, and the realities of growth. Education I will stay accessible to families and work to make sure parents understand what’s happening, why decisions are being made, and how those decisions affect students. This should never feel like an “us versus them” relationship—when schools and families work together, kids win. Education Bradley County is growing, and our school system has to stay ahead of it. That means planning for enrollment increases, facility needs, transportation, and staffing before they become problems. I want us to be proactive, not reactive, using clear long-range plans that the public can understand, with realistic timelines and responsible spending. Wages / Job Benefits Supporting teachers isn’t just about appreciation, it’s about practical help: consistent expectations, strong leadership, the right resources, and a work environment that allows them to teach. I want teachers to feel heard and respected, and I want decisions to be made with real input from the people doing the work every day.
