Criminal Justice / Public Safety Fight to protect our LawEnforcement,Veterans,military families, and first responders. Advocating for increased funding needed for our law enforcement agencies and first responders. As the district continues to grow our agencies need adjustments to their operating budgets to keep pace and provide a high level of service while also taking care of there needs. Economy We don't need to increase taxes, we need transparency while balance budgeting that’s puts priorities above pet projects and pay to play. Increasing taxes hurt businesses and directly impacts business growth and employment of many of our constituents.We need to eliminate burdensomeregulations. Healthcare Health care for our Seniors and Affordable health care are still areas of opportunity in our country and state. As a state legislator, I will advocate for the needs of Floridians and legislate for health care options and increase mental health care services. Education It all starts with education and our teachers, I will advocate for increasing public school funding and teachers salaries. I work in education and have experience and fresh ideas to bring inovation to our schools, and provide a balance learning model for our children. I have two daughters in public schools and as a parent, I can relate to the concerns of the constituents of district 48. From elementary to College, education should be at the forefront in Tallahassee, expanding education options andVocational / Technical Programs. Guns Guns are not only used for provision. They are also used in defense – something that I think people from both rural and urban areas can understand. I want to protect my loved ones if there is a violent threat whether it is a criminal when I’m walking to my car or a snake under my child’s trampoline. Guns Defend the Second Amendment. Housing Home Owners Association Reform Reform is Greatly needed and I will work to bring attention to the issue appliqueing Florida, beginning with Association of Poinciana Villages. Owners’ Rights re-established DBPR - More Authority and an increasing ability to enforce actions. Eliminate Foreclosures allowed by Homeowners Association for minimum amounts past due.
