My Top Issues

Government Reform

I will advocate for a system that ensures citizens have consistent access to timely, relevant, and easy-to-understand information about city business. This means publishing meeting agendas and supporting documents at least 72 hours in advance, providing clear, plain-language summaries of council decisions and policy changes, and making all public financial data available online.

Economy

From family-owned boutiques to local service providers and eateries, these entrepreneurs invest in Trussville every day. We should invest in them. When we shop local, we do more than make a transaction — we keep dollars circulating in our community.

Infrastructure / Transportation

You have the power to help shape how we approach land use, zoning, infrastructure, education, and public services. Great leadership starts by listening — and then taking meaningful action.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Thoughtful Community Planning means more than reacting to trends; it means guiding development, infrastructure, and investment decisions based on sound judgment, strategy, and community input. Lack of planning leads to congestion, frustration, and reactive decision-making. Thoughtful planning helps foster a stable community and create opportunities.

Taxes / Budget

Our city has faced tremendous growth over the past decade. Growth needs to be managed as it creates financial challenges that can strain the budget. .

Taxes / Budget

We must ensure that growth pays for itself and supports a thriving, well-served community. With responsible financial management and planning, we can preserve the high quality of life our residents expect—without compromising our city’s financial foundation.
