I love animals, ice cream, pizza, and wings—and I never pass up a good family meal. I enjoy being outdoors and spending time in nature, especially with my wife and kids. Whether it’s a local trail or a backyard BBQ, quality time with family is what matters most to me.
Past Experience
I'm Bryan Rubio, a U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran, small business owner, father, husband, and deeply engaged Montverde resident. I’m running for Town Council because I believe Montverde deserves leadership that’s transparent, financially responsible, and focused on protecting the quality of life we all value.
My background includes over a decade of experience as a real estate broker, business owner, and community advocate. I’ve served on key regional boards, including the Lake County Value Adjustment Board and multiple committee roles with the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association—covering finance, tech innovation, and professional standards. I currently chair a Military Advisory Council focused on advocacy, legislation, and community education.
I’m not a career politician—I’m a neighbor who’s ready to serve, ask hard questions, and make smart calls that benefit the people who live here.
Montverde is growing. Let’s make sure it’s done the right way—with integrity, common sense, and a deep respect for residents’ voices.

Enhancing transparency and accountability
I believe every resident has the right to know how decisions are made and where their tax dollars are going. I support stronger transparency measures and clear accountability to ensure our town government works for the people it serves.
Clean air and water
Protecting Montverde’s small-town charm and peaceful environment is a priority for me. I’ll work to ensure that growth and development enhance—not disrupt—the quality of life for our residents.
Supporting policies that encourage responsible land use and development
I support policies that protect individual property rights while encouraging responsible land use and thoughtful development. Growth should respect both the character of our town and the rights of those who live and invest here.

I support open budgets, accessible records, and decisions made in the public eye—not behind closed doors.
Infrastructure / Transportation
I support responsible development that respects landowners while preserving our town’s identity. Growth should be measured, thoughtful, and guided by what’s best for residents.

Montverde’s peaceful, small-town character is worth protecting. I’ll advocate for policies that keep our neighborhoods safe, clean, and family-friendly.
Taxes / Budget
