Government Reform I want to create spaces for true co-governance, from participatory budgeting to rotating monthly meetings, so the voices of Ward 5 are shaping decisions. Economy I want to support the businesses that are already here and work to address concerns like parking, safety, and infrastructure so our downtown thrives for everyone. Environment / Energy Invest in more shade trees, rain gardens, and green spaces across the ward. Housing I want to work with residents and partners to create innovative, community-driven approaches that keep housing accessible for current and future generations. Environment / Energy Develop local plans to address flooding, extreme heat, and poor air quality. Environment / Energy Clean air and water, safe homes, and access to healthy food and transportation shouldn’t be luxuries — they’re basic rights. Economy Connect entrepreneurs with funding, marketing support, and city-sponsored promotions. Infrastructure / Transportation Repair sidewalks, improve street lighting, and enhance trash pickup services. Housing Housing is a Human Right.
