Criminal Justice / Public Safety Emergency response times in our rural and island communities must be a priority because growth without emergency services infrastructure puts families at risk. Taxes / Budget Every dollar of taxpayer money should be spent wisely and transparently. I’ll demand accountability in how our county budget is allocated. Infrastructure / Transportation New development must come with the infrastructure to support it: roads, drainage, schools, and emergency services. No more approving rooftops without the roads to get there. Taxes / Budget District 9 taxpayers pay their fair share and we deserve our fair share of county investment in return. Taxes / Budget I will push for regular public reporting on how county road and infrastructure funds are being spent in our district. Infrastructure / Transportation I will stand up to developers who want to change the character of our neighborhoods without regard for the people who already live here. Infrastructure / Transportation Our island communities and rural areas have a unique identity. I’ll fight to protect that character – the trees, the marshes, the open spaces that make this place home. Infrastructure / Transportation Traffic congestion is getting worse because we haven’t planned ahead. We need proactive solutions, not reactive Band-Aids. Taxes / Budget Our tax dollars should be going to the roads we drive on every day – not getting lost in county bureaucracy. Infrastructure / Transportation I will personally track every road project in District 9 and hold the county accountable for timelines and quality. Infrastructure / Transportation We need sidewalks where our children walk to school and our neighbors walk their dogs. Basic infrastructure shouldn’t be too much to ask. Infrastructure / Transportation Our roads are crumbling and our families deserve better. I will make road repair and maintenance the top priority for District 9’s county council representative. Infrastructure / Transportation Charleston County is growing, and that’s not going to stop. But growth has to be managed responsibly. We can’t just rubber-stamp every development that comes along. Criminal Justice / Public Safety I support our law enforcement officers and first responders. They deserve the resources and backing to keep our community safe. Infrastructure / Transportation Drainage and flooding continue to damage our roads and properties. We need a representative who will push for real investment in stormwater infrastructure.
