Civil Rights Protect the LGBTQIA Community. Guns I have a strong belief that we should explore reasonable safety measures including permitting with background checks, require safe storage of firearms, and reasonable red flag laws. Abortion / Contraception I believe that women should determine when, where, how, and with whom to start a family. I believe that reproductive rights, including access to abortion, birth control , and IVF are fundamental to achieving equality for all women. Education I believe having talented and fulfilled teachers has the most positive impact on students in public schools and provides for an exceptional educational experience. Tennessee students deserve well-compensated educators, high-caliber resources, and expanded infrastructure in order to have successful futures.
