Immigration Support guest worker programs to ensure all of California’s vital industries have the help they need, and work with the federal government on a reasonable path to citizenship for hard working, law abiding residents. Environment / Energy Protect California Farmers’ Water Rights and ensure California farmers have the water allocations necessary to feed California and the nation. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Strengthen penalties on repeat violent offenders – giving prosecutors the tools they need to keep dangerous criminals off our streets. Immigration Abolish Sanctuary State policies and ensure local law enforcement is free to collaborate with federal partners when dealing with illegal immigrants who commit crimes. Taxes / Budget Conduct a full audit of all of the spending on the High Speed Rail Project. This boondoggle was once predicted to cost 33 billion dollars. It is now slated to cost over 100 billion dollars with no end in sight. Housing Expedite the construction of emergency shelters and supportive housing. Infrastructure / Transportation Reduce traffic congestion by expanding HOV Lanes and investing in infrastructure projects that Californians actually need– like freeway expansions. Environment / Energy Expand Firebreaks. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Ensure every public-school campus has access to School Resource Officers that are trained and equipped to respond to crime and emergency situations. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Ensure law enforcement has adequate staffing and resources to respond to rising crime. Housing Expedite approval for housing projects. Environment / Energy Keep Diablo Canyon up and operational. Housing Conduct a full audit of every entity receiving tax payer money to ensure that money is actually being spent on those who are homeless and homelessness prevention, rather than lining the pockets of those in charge of that entity. Taxes / Budget Cut taxes on working families and businesses. Infrastructure / Transportation Expedite the construction of Sites Reservoir which will provide a more flexible water supply for future generations of Californians. Housing Use Grants Pass v. Johnson to encourage cities to clear homeless encampments. Environment / Energy Reform SGMA (Sustainable Groundwater Management Act) to stop the over-burdensome groundwater regulations that are crushing small farmers. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Bolster legal aid and mental health services for crime victims who will live with residual trauma for the rest of their lives. Environment / Energy Embrace innovative energy solutions that are driven by the market, such as hydrogen, geothermal, hydro, and nuclear. Environment / Energy Modernizing will aid in preventing blackouts and ensure delivery during peak load times. Education Repeal AB 1955 to restore parental rights over their children when we send them to school. Education Support career-technical education that gives students real-world skills that translate to job opportunities.
